Guardian Soulmates cinema
Soulmates cinema screens one film a month, for one night
only, at Picturehouse Cinemas across the country. The films
are a varied bunch. Kicking off in September with Thelma And
Louise, a typical chick flick with added shoot-outs,
car-chases and exploding oil trucks. Followed that in
October with the 1970s masterpiece Manhattan, Woody Allen's
funny and touching love-letter to the Big Apple. Finally in
November, Lauren Bacall teaches Bogie to "whistle" in the
smouldering Howard Hawks classic To Have and Have Not.
Anyone can buy a ticket, but if you register with Soulmates
(which doesn't cost you anything) you can watch all of our
films without paying a penny. We'll even throw in a free
coffee after the screening.
